![]() ![]() I know this sound rediculus but for guys that stuck with project in a resolve timeline and dealing with schedule. In protol use the mono track from the fcp7 omf to manually put the stereo track in sync. Now you get clean stereo track to pro tool but not in sync as the original timeline, Go back in resolve copy the timeline and remove all the mono track, and export as aaf to protool, Now you get all your mono track clean in protoolīut this isn't the end, resolve and fcp7 don't interpret stereo track the same way so you omf give all stereo track as a mono track (only one channel) Problem, track get off sync randomly in protools.Ģ: prepare it for pro tool: remove all disabled audio and video clip (ALL)Īnd put a one frame colorer and tone on each track to keep a security cheek on the sync!Īs i edit a show with black block for advertising, i put one frame sync test at the beginning, one at each black advertising break and one at the end.Ĥ: be sure there no stereo clip on mono track, no mono clip on stereo track ( find the 1.0 ou 2.0 on the left of each track and change track type by right clic on the track Here my workaround to get the track to protools. I finish edit 3 X 30min tv show of a 20 show series. Why was all the signaling from beta testers that it was broken not fixed before golive ? ![]() Why do we get empty tracks when reading the resolve aaf in protools ? (Thats is the core of the problem ) Nothing and am not going to redo my complete edit. Looked for way to convert stereo track in Resolve in place to dual mono. Tried route via conversion to ableton live, which works for live (as can be tricket with stereo instead of mono file), but then back into protools (via AAtranslate again) same mono issue. Tricking protools to replace mono with interlaced stereo files (build with excelent tool WavAgent) does not work (relinking fails even though name is identical) All is in but instead of stereo only mono tracks (duplicated referencing same file). Max i can get after > export protools (aaf) > converted to ptf with AAtranslate (as resolve aaf reads only empty tracks in protools ) > import in protools. I tried all kinds of routes but no way i can get it in protools. I am stuck with a project, finished editing and cut on 6 stereo tracks that need protools for final mixing. Pleasssssssseeeeeeeeee fix protools export. ![]()
